A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea said in a statement released on Friday that the recent "military provocation" of South Korea is "a product of the deliberate and premeditated plot" to "save its smear confrontational campaign from total bankruptcy, tarnish the daily rising might of the DPRK, scuttle the efforts for improving the north-south relations and tide over the domestic and international isolation and crisis."
If the puppet group insists on confrontation with the DPRK, the DPRK does not have any idea of dodging it at all, the spokesman said. The army and people of the DPRK are now greatly enraged at the provocation while getting fully ready to give a shower of dreadful fire and blow up the enemies "if they dare to encroach again upon the DPRK's dignity and sovereignty even in the least," the spokesman warned.South Korean and the United States are scheduled to stage a joint naval drill in waters off the west coast of the Korean Peninsula from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.
The U.S. will send the USS George Washington aircraft carrier to join South Korea's naval forces in the four-day drill, according to a statement issued by the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) in Seoul.Situation on the peninsula is getting tense after the exchange of artillery fire on Tuesday between South Korea and DPRK, which killed four people.
