NATO fuel tankers torched in Pakistan
Unknown militants in southwestern Pakistan have destroyed two fuel tankers destined for NATO and US forces in Afghanistan amid rising violence in the country. Police officials told Press TV that militants set the tankers on fire in Mastung and Khuzdar towns in the Baluchistan Province on Monday. No casualties have been reported. The fuel tankers were heading to Kandahar in Afghanistan from Karachi when they came under attack. Hundreds of vehicles carrying fuel and supplies for US-led forces in Afghanistan have been attacked and destroyed in Pakistan in the past three years.
